Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Alibust — Logic Mysteries (“Alibust”, “we”, “us”) handles in the iOS app, in the web version at /play/, and on this website. The short version: there are no accounts, your progress stays on your device, and the only third parties involved are the ones that show ads and process purchases.
Alibust is published by Ahmet Onur Saygı, Antalya, Türkiye. You can reach us at [email protected].
1. What we do not collect
Alibust has no sign-up and no login. The game offers an optional display name and avatar for your Detective Card; they stay on your device. We do not ask for your email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and we do not run our own servers that receive your gameplay. We do not use separate analytics or crash-reporting tools.
2. Information stored on your device
Your progress (solved cases, stars, the Daily Case streak), your Detective Card name and avatar, settings such as language and haptics, and whether you own Remove Ads or the Detective Club are saved locally on your device. This information is not sent to us. It may be included in your device's own backups (for example iCloud), which are controlled by Apple and you. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Cases are generated on your device. Sharing a Daily Case result uses your phone's share sheet; the shared text contains only your result and goes wherever you choose to send it.
3. Advertising in the app (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and prevent fraud, Google's SDK collects information from your device, such as your IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), device model, operating system, app version, and how you interact with ads.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA). On iOS, Google can use your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the identifier is not available to us or to Google. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. If you are in one of these regions, the app shows Google's consent form (the User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are used. You can accept, reject or choose specific purposes, and change your choice later from the privacy option in the app's Settings.Without consent, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which rely on context and on limited data such as your IP address, for example for fraud prevention and frequency capping.
- US state privacy laws. Where required, the same Google message lets you opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising.
If you buy Remove Ads or join the Detective Club, the app stops showing ads. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)
Remove Ads (a one-time purchase) and the Detective Club (an auto-renewing subscription) are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card details, your Apple ID email or your billing address. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, keep track of your subscription status and let you restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID, the App Store transaction and receipt data for your purchases, and basic technical information such as device model, operating-system and app version, App Store country and IP address. This data is not linked to your name. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
5. The web version and this website
- Progress in your browser. The web version at /play/ saves your progress and settings in your browser's localStorage. This website also uses localStorage to remember your language choice. These values stay in your browser; clearing your site data removes them.
- Google AdSense. The web version shows ads from Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads and, where you allow it, to personalize them. Visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland see a Google-certified consent message before cookies are used for personalized advertising. You can manage Google ad personalization at My Ad Center.
- Hosting. Like any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and request details (such as browser type and pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure, and may keep short-lived server logs. The app also downloads new story chapters from alibust.com, so the same applies to those requests.
6. Who receives what
| Partner | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (app) | IP address, device and app information, ad interactions; IDFA only with your permission | Showing, measuring and protecting ads |
| Google AdSense (web) | IP address, browser information, cookies or similar identifiers, ad interactions | Showing, measuring and protecting ads |
| Apple | Payment and Apple ID information you give Apple | Processing payments and subscriptions |
| RevenueCat | Anonymous app user ID, App Store receipts and transactions, basic device information, IP address | Validating and restoring purchases |
| Web host | IP address, browser information | Delivering this website |
We do not sell your personal information, and we share nothing beyond what is described here.
7. Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)
- Consent for personalized ads, the use of the advertising identifier, and advertising cookies on the web. You can withdraw consent at any time using the options above.
- Contract for processing purchases and restoring them.
- Legitimate interests for showing non-personalized ads that keep the game free, preventing fraud, and delivering and securing this website.
8. Retention
Data on your device stays until you delete the app or clear your browser's site data. RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as needed to provide purchase restoration and to meet legal obligations. Google keeps advertising data as described in its own policies. Server logs are kept only briefly.
9. International transfers
Google, Apple and RevenueCat may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the EEA, UK or Turkey, these companies rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Turkey's KVKK or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold an account or profile for you, most of these rights are exercised directly: delete the app or browser data, change your tracking and consent choices, or use Google's and Apple's own tools. If you want us to ask RevenueCat to delete the purchase records linked to your device, email us; we may need your App Store order ID to find them. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Children
Alibust is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.
12. Security
Data in transit to our partners is encrypted using HTTPS. Because we keep no central database of players, there is no account data of yours for us to lose.
13. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
14. Contact
